A useful playground quotation connects the selected equipment to a real site and a clearly defined delivery scope. Elysee’s production operations in Turkey and North Macedonia support project-based enquiries. For an Arabian Peninsula destination, ask for the information below before comparing prices or committing to an opening date.

1. Identify the equipment precisely

Record the model name, code, quantity, intended age group and the exact configuration offered. Request overall dimensions, relevant layout information and the required use space for that selection. Where drawings or certificates are needed, confirm which documents cover the selected model and configuration. Do not assume that a document for a different product applies automatically.

2. Confirm materials and the maintenance approach

Ask for the specified timber, its preparation, the protective finish and the hardware used on the offered equipment. Review ropes, slides, anchors and replaceable components as part of the same specification. Share details of sun, shade, dust, moisture and any salt exposure so material choices and maintenance expectations can be discussed for the site.

Request the manufacturer’s care instructions, inspection guidance and available replacement components. Avoid treating “outdoor use” as a promise of maintenance-free service or a fixed lifetime under every condition.

3. Coordinate safety information and surfacing

Equipment documents, use spaces, free height of fall, foundations and surfacing belong in the project review together. Request current information for the exact selected models instead of estimating missing values from images. Our technical page and surfacing guide introduce the discussion; they do not replace the documents and review needed for the final installation.

If the client specifies EN 1176 or other project requirements, send the actual document list and acceptance criteria. Confirm the available model-specific evidence and any destination requirements with the responsible project team before order approval.

4. Separate the delivery responsibilities

  • Equipment: itemised models, quantities, agreed finish and included components.
  • Freight: destination, transport scope, packing information and delivery terms stated in the offer.
  • Receiving: access, unloading equipment, storage and the receiving contact.
  • Site works: foundations, drainage, surfacing and any removal of existing equipment.
  • Assembly: installer, travel arrangements, local support and responsibilities at handover.
  • Import arrangements: which party coordinates documentation, customs procedures and applicable charges.

These are quotation questions, not a promise that all items are included. The written proposal must identify what Elysee supplies and what the client or local contractors arrange.

5. Agree the programme and handover

Give the target opening date together with design approval deadlines and the date the site will be ready. Production, transport, receiving and assembly form separate stages. A requested opening date becomes a commitment only when the agreed proposal confirms the programme.

At handover, confirm that the agreed documents have been supplied and that responsibilities for inspections and maintenance are assigned. Keep model details and correspondence so later requests for components can identify the correct equipment.

Why can two offers have very different prices?

They may cover different equipment combinations, finishes, quantities or delivery and installation responsibilities. Compare the itemised scope before deciding which offer represents the better fit.

What information makes the first enquiry useful?

Send the country and city, measured plan, photographs, age groups, expected users, budget range, desired opening date and procurement requirements. For destination context, return to the Arabian Peninsula playground guide.

Wooden playground prices: how is project cost calculated?

A useful price comparison starts with the model list, quantities and desired activities. Site area is essential for planning, but area alone does not determine equipment cost: two sites of the same size may require very different combinations. Provide an approximate budget and its currency so options can be discussed within a clear scope.

Is equipment priced per set or per square metre?

Request equipment prices by model, quantity and the configuration offered. Surfacing and site works should have separate quantities and specifications when included in the quotation. Floor coverage, the dimensions of a play combination and the space required around it are different measurements.

Which factors change the price?

  • Equipment configuration: the number, size and quantity of towers, slides, swings and activities, together with requested changes.
  • Specification and finish: the materials, protective finish, fixings and accessories identified in the quotation.
  • Project scope: equipment supply alone, or equipment with agreed surfacing, site works or installation.
  • Freight and receiving: destination, shipment volume and weight once packing is defined, and the agreed delivery and unloading arrangements.

To compare two proposals, use a consistent list of models, quantities, activities, shipping and installation scope, and review inclusions and exclusions. Start with the equipment selection and buying guide when preparing the list.

Ordering and importing playground equipment from Turkey

  1. Send the project brief: country, city, measured plan, site images, ages, expected users and budget.
  2. Review the proposal: models, quantities, layout, available documents and the scope of each price item.
  3. Define receiving and installation: delivery address, receiving party, access, unloading, site readiness and assembly responsibility.
  4. Agree the terms in writing: production and transport programme, payment, included documents and each party’s responsibilities before confirming the order.

What is needed for shipping to Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Qatar?

Provide the city and project address or proposed receiving point, together with the contact who will coordinate the shipment’s arrival. Transport arrangements and packing information are reviewed after equipment selection. Send the buyer’s requirements and requested document list early, and confirm destination import requirements with the responsible specialist before approving shipping arrangements.
